Bristol based puppetry company Puppets and Pandemonium were asked for the first time to set up their marquee and put on puppetry workshops in the children's area at 2010s Tribe of Doris International Summer School. Many thanks to all those who took part as the puppet making was great fun and well received buy loads of imaginative kids, many of whom we became good friends with and were with us every day of the festival. So a Big Shout out to allof the fantastic budding puppeteers we had the pleasure to work with. To name a few (in no particular order); Ingo and his Mum; Chris, Kia, Mia, Anita and Alisha, Rose and Joe, Arrowan and Tiano, Mimi, Harley, Bethany, Douglas, Jasmine, Alexi, George, Rufus and Tula and everybody else who got involved. I'm really sorry if I've missed your name off the list or have spelt your name incorrectly, please do get in touch and I'll get it sorted.
Each day different types of puppets were made including fingerpuppets and cardboard tube characters, along side other creative activities and we finished of the week with a procession performance involving big rod and stick puppets and a carnival dragon.
